Ambreesh Celebrates Women's History Month

This day is a reminder of the progress women have made throughout history and is an opportunity to recognize the hard work and contributions of all women. On International Women's Day, we honor the story of our founder, Preet Johal. A woman who immigrated from India to New York in her youth, Preet found her passion for cosmetics in high school. Despite life taking her in a different direction, she found success in the male-dominated industry of construction, managing multiple bay area companies. Preet learned a wealth of skills and lessons through her experiences, but something was still missing. Then, during a seemingly casual conversation with her daughter, Preet was asked “Why do you do what you do? What makes you happy?” This prompted serious reflection and led Preet to take a leap of faith and pursue her passion for cosmetics. She partnered with a lab to develop the 24K Liquid Lipstick formula and Ambreesh was born. At Ambreesh, we celebrate the beauty of self-expression and the power of trusting yourself, believing in your abilities, embracing your vulnerabilities and pursuing happiness to feel truly beautiful.
