All About Ambreesh

Ambreesh is a beauty brand that aims to embolden and redefine "beauty". It is our goal to create a community which highlights empowered women. With just a touch of class, a heaping of sass, and some undeniable bad-assery, Ambreesh exists to enable bold women making bold moves.

Our founder, Preet Johal, immigrated from India to New York City at a young age. She found her passion for cosmetics in high school, but discovered that life had other plans for her at the time. She first achieved success in the male dominated industry of construction, founding and leading multiple bay area companies with unique focuses. Undoubtedly, she learned many skills and life lessons through these experiences- from management to financial planning to marketing, but something was missing. 

One day her daughter (Ambreesh), posed a few questions in a seemingly casual conversation that would change Preet's trajectory. She asked "Why do you do what you do?" and "What makes you happy?". After some serious consideration and reflection, Preet knew it was time to make a change. She started researching cosmetic development, packaging resources and other facets of the industry. She partnered with a lab to develop the 24K Liquid Lipstick formula...and so our story begins.

At Ambreesh, we believe makeup is a beautiful form of self-expression, which is why we do what we do. We also believe that trusting yourself, believing in your abilities, embracing your vulnerabilities and pursuing happiness are essential to feeling truly beautiful, inside and out.
